Charles received a Master of Architecture at Cornell University where he was awarded the Eschweiler Prize & graduated at the top of his design studio class. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Texas/ Arlington where he was also awarded distinction in design studio.

He has worked on a large range of projects in New York and Austin, including work at notable firms: Weiss/ Manfredi, Jenny Sabin Studio & Iu+Bibliowicz Architects. Notable project work includes Polythread at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian NYC, Carnegie Hall renovations, NYC Cornell Tech Building, 432 Park Avenue Residence, 791 Park Avenue/ Weill Residence, Krishna Sing Nanotech @ Penn, Beijing National Zoo, Westlake Dermatology, Central District Brewing, 707 Yale Street, 1300 East 5th Street, and many other commercial, residential & research-oriented projects.
